Cheboksary Russia New Large Residential Area Sadovy Rion

The design services included a large new residential complex in the city of Cheboksary called ‘Sadovy Raion’ (‘Garden District’) (areas 3-3A-2-4), featuring:

• 10 clusters of residential and commercial buildings along the main street of Dementiev Street, composed of two different typologies, with the same depth but different lengths;
• Residential towers on B. Khmelnitskiy Street, arranged over 16 residential levels, plus one office level;

The project followed the following criteria:

• An ‘Italian’ and ‘English’ style design;
• The use of prefabricated structures made by local manufacturers;
• The design of an internal gallery connecting the commercial and residential areas along Dementiev Street.
